When you call directly to the contact mentioned in a property’s listing, you are, in practice, deciding that is the agent who will represent you in the purchase of a house. With this being said, that person – who will be responsible for defending your interests throughout the entire process, from the house viewing to the day of the deed – is the same professional who was hired to represent the interests of the property’s owner.
In other words, it’s in your hands to decide if you should choose, beforehand, the expert who you believe will best defend your interests throughout the process of researching, selecting, negotiating, and formalizing the purchase of your new property (which is the same as saying: someone who makes a huge effort to save you from misfortunes, concerns and some thousand of euros), or if you should let fate choose this person for you.
